The Magic of Exercise in Beauty

Saturday, January 5, 2008

Exercise helps to build and tone the facial muscles, this in turn helps to reduce wrinkles. This exercise also increases the production of collagen and elastin. Yoga and Pilates are great for losing weight - they don't just burn calories, they also improve your muscle tone and increase your metabolism in the long term. Everyone can appreciate how a fit and trim body makes a person look more attractive. As we get older this is most often achieved through exercise and good nutrition. When we are young the healthy looking body seems natural and doesn't take much or any effort to maintain but as work and other pressures mount our lives often become more sedentary and the muscle tone diminishes. It is the tone of our muscles and that give us the good body shape. Without exercise, facial muscles, like all muscles, will weaken and sag. A facial exercise program uses dynamic resistance to tone, uplift and redefine the appearance of your face. Physical exercise is important for maintaining physical fitness and can contribute positively to maintaining a healthy weight; building and maintaining healthy bone density. Regular exercise also benefits your respiratory system by promoting rhythmic, deep breathing. Your lungs actually develop greater capacity, so you're better able to take in oxygen to nourish your cells.
