"Midi" is the new maxi. Midi skirts, midi dresses, midi rings - the new fashion trend has done away with extremes and found its stylish place at a super chic happy medium. These rings are placed (you guessed it) mid-finger, either between or directly on top of the knuckle. Worn stacked or alone, these rings are the now accessory on runways and red carpets.

Knuckle Up

Riri makes trendsetting seem so easy, unapologetically putting it out there that she's the Only Girl (In the World) who can work stacked midi rings, pointed pale nails, and vampy lipstick all at once.

Digit Couture 

Chanel's 2013 Fall Couture show proved there's only one way to make a square flat-top, 18th century ponytail and bold brows look even more statement-worthy: strategically placed, gemstone encrusted midi rings.

Showing off her street style, Courtney Trop, author of the blog "Always Judging," puts her style out on a limb with these Vita Fede midi rings.

It seems like spikes and studs are in trend again this season (fall/winter 2012-2013). You see them everywhere now!! I love the 'Rock Chic' style. They are on accessories like bags, leather bracelet, shoes, clothes, headbands, and even sunglasses. If you are funky, Gothic, rebellious, street look kind of person, go for this fashion trend and you will hit the right path.

Spring 2011 Beauty Trends

A new season means new beauty trends! What big beauty trends are going to cut it for spring 2011? If New York Fashion Week has anything to say about it, spring beauty trends will be bright and wild, with even the requisite "natural look" trading up for something edgier. The true winners were matte lips set ablaze and shine-free, teased and texturized hair, and cheeks finally got some play after being overlooked for many a season. Gorgeous add ons were popped into hair in the form of accessories, and the double header of vivid lips and flashy eyes are a signal of colorful makeup to come.

Undone Updo - To give pulled-back hair a softer, au naturel appearance strands were left loose around the face and neck.

Low Ponytail - A handful of artfully placed clips for this take on the ponytail

Pinned Bangs - A sexy pinned swoop is perfect for growing out bangs or keeping hair out of the face

Low Bun - This year's go-to spring hairstyle is the low bun. Keep them a tad bit loose for a relaxed look!

New High-Heeled Clog Trend?

Clogs are back for spring/summer 2010!! Now you can start wearing them again!! Chanel did them. So did Louis Vuitton. I personally will never wear them because they just look so bottom heavy and just not right to me. But, I used to wear and love clogs back in primary school, and owned a few pairs actually. But, if you are at all fashionable in any sense, then go for it! I don't think they are wearable in everyday stuff, but if you wear them right they can look cute (I guess)!! I still think that they are better for the runway... What do you think?
